Happy Monday Morning, sweetie pies!
First, let me say after my fun-filled weekend, that I have been blessed by the most wonderful group of ladies that come and stamp with me each month. We have such a great time together, and each one of them warms my heart. And we were all thankful to kind, sweet Cheryl for surprising us with a delicious birthday cake at the Kick-Off Party on Saturday!
The big flowers are gorgeous but what really makes my heart go pitter-pat and catches my eye are the little bee embellishments- the finishing touch on a lovely creation by a talented cake decorator. That is on my bucket list- learn to decorate a cake…
One of the cards we made at our Kick-Off party has the same effect on me as these little bees – a simple embellishment that steals the show even though there is a huge flower image from the SU You’ve Got This that sits center stage.
I usually am not taken with this kind of embellishment but oh, I fell for this one!
These resin IN COLOR (2015-17) Blossom Accents are just adorable and come
20 to a package – 4 each in 5 colors-
Mint Macaron, Watermelon Wonder, Tip Top Taupe,
Delightful Dijon, and Cucumber Crush.
I finished off the inside with a partially stamped flower in Tip Top Taupe ink in the lower corner that really pops off the Very Vanilla and Mint Macaron cardstock.
A clean and simple card that was dressed up with a sweet little embellishment and some Stampin’ Dimensionals. I have to say my gals were happy to make this one since I, well, have a tendency to have them jump up, turn around, touch the ground, stamp, punch, die cut, and layer a lot at class! They loved the new Triple Banner Punch that created a perfect pennant end on the sentiment- just slip in a 1″, 1 1/2″ or 2″ piece of cardstock and boom it’s punched!
Thanks for stopping by, friends…
